Dusty Dawn Davison, the founding partner of Dusty Dawn Law, has a deeply personal connection to the challenges families face in the legal system, particularly in child welfare matters. As a teenager, Dusty was placed in the care of the Department of Human Services (DHS), an experience that shaped much of her life and motivated her to pursue a career in law. The emotional and psychological challenges she faced during that time gave her a profound understanding of how devastating family separation can be, and it inspired her lifelong commitment to helping those in need.

While her personal experience in the DHS system was difficult, it ultimately fueled her passion to create a law firm where families in crisis could find support and guidance. Having lived through the hardship of being a child in the system, Dusty is uniquely positioned to empathize with clients and advocate for their needs, particularly when children’s well-being is at stake. Dusty strives to be the advocate she desperately needed as a teenager—someone who could offer support, guidance, and a voice in times of crisis.

In her law career, Dusty’s focus has always been on helping families—especially children—during some of their most challenging times. She takes a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to her practice, understanding how legal issues, such as child custody and family disputes, can have a lasting emotional and psychological impact. With a background in psychology, Dusty is also deeply interested in the dynamics that shape family relationships and strives to bring that understanding into her work with clients. Her trauma-informed approach ensures that every client feels heard, supported, and respected throughout the legal process.

Outside of her legal career, Dusty enjoys spending time with her wonderfully blended family, including her husband Britt, their adult children, grandchildren, and their two beloved cats, Theo and Shadow. She loves the outdoors, often riding on the back of Britt’s Harley, playing golf, and hiking in nature to recharge. Dusty’s love for life and her dedication to making a difference in the lives of others are at the heart of everything she does, both personally and professionally.

Britt Davison

Director of Operations, Paralegal, Notary

Britt Davison, a proud Army veteran and member of a military and veteran family, serves as the Director of Operations and a paralegal at Dusty Dawn Law. With over 24 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Britt worked his way up from developer to Vice President of IT for a local company, where he honed his leadership and operational skills. After semi-retiring, Britt joined his wife, Dusty, at the firm, where he quickly developed a passion for the law and helping families through challenging times.

Britt’s extensive background in operations management, combined with his strong sense of service and dedication, ensures that the firm runs smoothly and efficiently. His commitment to providing families with the best possible legal support is rooted in his years of experience, both in his professional career and his military service.

Outside of work, Britt is an avid supporter of veterans and enjoys a variety of hobbies, including general aviation, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing poker, and—most of all—golf. He’s forever chasing that elusive little white ball on the golf course, always striving for the perfect game. Britt’s unique perspective and dedication to service make him an invaluable asset to Dusty Dawn Law, where he plays a key role in delivering compassionate, top-notch support to every client.

Brittney Davison

Administrative Assistant, Process Server, Notary

Brittney Davison is a sweet soul and an essential part of the Dusty Dawn Law team, bringing both her passion for helping others and her diverse background.  After she spent three years serving as a Deputy Sheriff in Fulton County, Arkansas, she traded in her badge to hit the road, driving a truck across the country to explore every corner of America. After experiencing the vastness of the nation, she eventually parked her truck to join her family in their work.

With a natural talent for organization and a keen eye for detail, Brittney plays a pivotal role in keeping things running smoothly. Her dedication to making sure each person receives timely, personalized attention makes her an invaluable member of the team.

When she’s not hard at work, Brittney enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her life partner Chris, and their beloved pup, Carob, who is quite the youtube star. A true outdoors enthusiast, she loves camping and testing her outdoor survival skills, embracing every opportunity to connect with nature. Brittney’s passion for both her work and her community reflects her strong values and deep desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
